Your First Visit.

What to expect at your first visit

Give yourself a bit more time than a routine check-up.

Nothing gets done on the day unless it's urgent — the first visit is about understanding where things stand, and what your options are.

Your first visit, step by step:

  • We'll ask what's brought you in, and listen properly

  • A full examination of your teeth, gums and bite

  • X-rays, scans or photos where they're needed

  • A clear explanation of what we've found

  • A written treatment plan with costs, so there are no surprises

Before you come in

We'll ask about your medical history and any medications, because both affect dental treatment.

There's a short form to fill in when you arrive, and the dentist will go through it with you.

Bring: a list of any medications you're taking, and your health fund card if you have one.

If you've been seeing another dentist, we may ask you to sign a release form so we can request your records and X-rays. Saves repeating anything unnecessarily.

Book online any time, or call (02) 9232 8599.
